Confessing Love
I have just one life
And this one time
When I gather courage
To ask if you would be mine
If you would accept this gift
A gift not precious, A gift no stone
A gift for someone I believe to be mine alone
A gift of faith, a gift to share the same fate
A gift for all moments to come
Be it early or late.
By the time you read this line, I will have assumed every bad thought about your decision to accept my love or not.
Always,
Love You.
Rushing in Love
Waking up excited
Realising I'm late
I feel the light hurt
Gleaming through my window pane
Eyes still closed, I turn back and forth
Discomforted & Lonely
Being with you is all I long for
A short snooze; the alarm rings again
Rubbing my eyes, dusting my hair
I head out wrapped in winter gear
Striding on empty streets
Dodging the leaves' foray
I make it to the plane, taking me away
Gliding over mountains, raging across seas
Flying high in the sky
Scattering clouds like fleece
A million moments pass
And finally I reach,
There where you have rushed before me
